WEDDING, PORTRAIT AND FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER.
To understand art and beauty I believe is to understand the reality of what it is to be human. What is most beautiful on this earth is that which is finite, delicate, fleeting and temporary; starting with human life itself. Photography is one of those art forms that allows us to give permanence to beauty. The world will be saved by beauty, this I believe is my calling as a photographer.
When I'm not photographing I'm:
Puttering around the many coffee shops I have saved in my Apple Maps app, thrifting for new dresses or artwork, at the gym getting a lift in, scouring Facebook marketplace for new furniture finds for my apartment, cooking a steak, or spending time with my sister and niece!
What photography means to me:
Photography is my love language. If a friend is feeling down, I gift them a photoshoot to help them feel more confident, a family member hasn't had family photos taken in a while, I snap a few at the Easter get together. Photography is also my way to capture my perspective and passion- to create in a world of consuming. To make my own contribution to the arts in my own way, through observing.
